Chatterbot Is Thinking
Chatterbot is a simple program of convasation agent without intelligence. In spite of that, we can sometimes feel improvisation, mind of joke, and emotion - in other words "human nature" - from those existance. So developpers suppose chatterbots could be the alternative path to know what the intelligense is. In Japan, Chatterbots are known as 'Jinkou Munou', literally means 'Artificial Intelligence without Intelligence'. The behaviour and the architechture of the japanese chatterbots are quite different from those of english because of caltural and linguistic difference. This is the one of the points we are interested in. This page aims to discuss what makes you feel programs lively act as humans do.

- Our mind is a highly developed system that we indeed know very few about it. However, developer of the chatterbots are tring to represent it by means of random. Can we construct a meaningful program of these quite complicated system by the quite random system? In this section we will discuss about this question to realize the strategy to create chatterbots. - The theories and technologies of the artificial intelligence have critical limitations because we can describe very few about how our mind works, that makes AIs too logical. But we want chatterbot to be more friendly. Symbol operation skill are not the most important thing. So the typical japanese chatterbots are focusing on a sense of closeness, warmth and relaxation.
